Arthur Wood and Sons English Teapot 4991, Pink Roses with Gold Trim

This gorgeous vintage Teapot was made in England by Arthur Wood and Sons. It is designed with dainty pink roses on a creamy off white background and is heavily gilded with gold trim. The teapot stands about 5" high and is about 9" across from tip of spout to handle. The Arthur Wood stamp on the bottom is somewhat faded, but the number 4991 is in shiny gold. There are some other identifying letters which are hard to read. They are on the bottom on the outer edge. The letters are embedded and I believe they say "Arthur Wood and Sons, Made in England. This appears to be a mid century piece and is in wonderful condition for the age. It is just as clean on inside as on the outside. There is visible crazing underneath the finish, but it does not distract, and the finish is still bright and shiny.

Great for the vintage lover, teapot collector, or even to add to your own collection
