This Vietnam war in-country embroidered patch measures approximately 2" by 2.8", used condition. Acronym LLTBDB (Luc Luong Tinh Bao Dac Biet) means Special Intelligence Group. A valuable addition to your Vietnam war military memorabilia collection.

During Vietnam War, the Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) formed a special intelligence unit called the LLTBDB (Luong Luc Tinh Bao Dac Biet) Special Intelligence Group. The LLTBDB was a clandestine unit that operated behind enemy lines to gather intelligence on North Vietnamese Army (NVA) and Viet Cong (VC) activities.

The LLTBDB Special Intelligence Group was composed of specially trained ARVN soldiers who were proficient in a variety of skills such as reconnaissance, surveillance, and intelligence collection. They operated in small teams, often working with U.S. Special Forces advisors, and were responsible for gathering intelligence on enemy troop movements, supply routes, and other critical information.

The LLTBDB also conducted psychological operations (PSYOPS) to disrupt NVA and VC activities. They would often use loudspeakers to broadcast propaganda messages to enemy soldiers, urging them to surrender or defect to the ARVN side.
