I am not an expert & am not positive about year of origin (1940's), but other ebay listings from 1940's looked the same, and my husband planted items in it during the 1960's. Item is very sturdy and heavy (over 10 oz.). Approximate dimensions are: 5" x 4" x 3-1/2". It is in excellent vintage shape - 'just needs a good cleaning due to age and amount of time stored in a box. The only possible flaws I saw are documented in the photos.
