Despite its compact size, the flash can be used for bounce photography when shooting in the vertical position
The light emitting part of the flash can be adjusted to 90° up, enabling bounce shooting by diffusing light on the ceiling or walls of a room. In addition, the light emitting part can be rotated 90° to the left and 180° to the right, making bounce photography possible not only when shooting horizontally but also when shooting vertically.
Versatile flash photography
The K-5 supports "high-speed synchro" for blurring backgrounds, "wireless flash function" for personalizing the light, "ADI flash mode" for high-precision flash exposure control, and "rear curtain synchro" for creating an impressive effect with a moving subject. The camera is also equipped with the "Screen Size Optimized Zoom Control Function," which automatically controls the optimal light distribution.
