Brazilian weaving is made with natural hair without chemical treatment. The hair is virgin, perfect for making extensions, reusable, for several poses and deposits.

THE hair weaving, Or african weaving is a afro hairstyle technique which consists of applying extensions (additional strands of hair) by sewing. This method ofafro hair extension, certainly old, is still widely used in hairdressing salons for frizzy and curly hair. This allows women to benefit from longer hair or hair of a different nature (curly, straight, etc.) for several weeks or even a few months.

Before buying your Brazilian locks, choose the length and the number of bundles necessary:

The first thing to do to choose your weave is to determine the type of cut you want.

The type of cut will allow you to define the length and texture (smooth/straight, wavy, curly) of the weave or natural hair locks.

The desired volume will also influence the number of natural strands needed for a full hairstyle. Similarly, the longer the weave, the greater the number of bundles will be for rendering in equivalent volume (the weaves generally weighing 100 g regardless of their length).

The length (regardless of the type of haircut) also depends on the height of the person. In order to define it as precisely as possible, it is necessary to determine where the hair should fall lowest: neck, shoulders, middle of the back (under the shoulder blades), lower back.

In order to help you in this process, you will find on each product sheet a table allowing you to indicate your size and easily find:

The length desired depending on where you want the hair to fall (neck, shoulder, middle of the back, etc.)

The number of bundles needed to achieve desired volume, normally 2 bundles for 10-14 inches, 3 bundles for 16-26 inches, 4 bundles or more (if larger size head) for 28-30 inches for one head complete.

How the hair weave is posed:
· The hairdresser begins by braiding the hair of the person who wishes to have a weave applied.
· Next, the hairstylist "weaves", that is, sews a strip of natural or synthetic wicks onto the recently made braid. Depending on the desired haircut, we sew more or less locks.

It is possible to protrude natural hair, on the front of the head which will merge with the extensions or to make a complete weave. You can also ask only a few rows of locks at the back of the head as part of a special hairstyle (wedding cut...).

When laying, the natural hair strip may need to be cut in order to make strips of different sizes which will be more convenient.

This is not a problem, but it is important that the hairdresser remembers to make a "hem" at each cut end of the strip so that the seam remains tight and that the hair does not come off en masse when brushing.

Some hairdressers also pose the weaves without cutting them.

How to get them removed:

To drop the weaving, it is not necessarily necessary to return to a hairdresser but we can only encourage you to do so in order to preserve your brazilian wick and to be able to reuse them.

If you have to do it yourself, the ideal is to be 2 (especially for the back of the head). Then just simply cut each thread with a razor blade absolutely avoiding touching the braids (and therefore cutting your real hair) or cutting the seam.

That's why it's easier to do it with 2 people so as not to hurt yourself and only cut the threads.
Once the weaving is removed, you need to distress your hair.

Caring for a lock of natural hair:

Properly maintaining your Brazilian weaving means giving it a longer lifespan.

With these tips, the Brazilian hair of your weaving will no longer tangle, dry out and will always be as silky over the washes. In addition, your Brazilian weave will be reusable as many times as you want!

Daily maintenance:

Before going to sleep, make a braid starting from the base of your neck. This will allow the hair of your Brazilian weave to not tangle.
In the morning, undo your braids and comb it using a wide-toothed comb, starting from the tips to the roots.
Once a week, apply the HT26 Smoothing Serum to nourish and smooth the hair without overloading it. Your Brazilian weave will become softer to the touch and will keep all its beauty. Avoid hairstyles that are too greasy, these will weigh down the hair and damage it while giving it a greasy appearance.

Washing :

An important and delicate step in maintenance, washing requires a few precautions. By following these instructions, your Brazilian weave will be reusable and will always keep its natural shine.
First of all, avoid washing your Brazilian weave when you wear it: the humidity seeps into the braids and causes hair breakage and the appearance of dandruff.
After undoing your Brazilian weave, gather the strands of the Brazilian weave with an elastic band. In a basin of lukewarm water, pour a few drops of shampoo of your choice then soak the Brazilian weave for 10 minutes. Rinse with clear water, avoiding hot water which will damage your Brazilian weave.
Then apply a nourishing mask on the hair of the Brazilian weave by making movements from top to bottom to bring the foam to the ends and smooth your Brazilian weave, then leave for 1 hour in a closed plastic bag. Rinse and let your Brazilian weave air dry.
When the wicks of the Brazilian weaving are dry, make a braid and tie them with an elastic band. You can then keep your Brazilian weave until the next use.

Know that good maintenance of your Brazilian weave is the result of silky hair and a lifespan of up to 2 years!
