USS SCHLEY DD-103 Naval cover for the destroyer that was moored in port undergoing overhaul, with her guns dismantled. However, her crew fired small arms at enemy planes during the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.

This 314 foot Wickes Class destroyer was built in San Francisco, CA and commissioned in 1918. The vessel was recommissioned in 1940 and she earned eleven WW II battle stars for Pacific Theater as APD-14. She was decommissioned on 9 November 1945 and sold for recycling into scrap metal in 1946.
