Midcentury stool with a rich brown leather top aged to perfection. There is a design embossed on the leather but it isn’t very visible now from use/age.

The base is expertly crafted in stick wicker and decorated with reed wrapped in geometric designs. I have also seen identical stool listed as vintage African drums? The leather top is thickly padded and could definitely be used as one.

Overall great vintage condition! A very attractive and unique accent piece for a boho vibe. In an effort of full disclosure there are a few visibly worn areas- The leather stitching on one side of the top has frayed at points and there is one very minor break on the reed at the bottom. I have showed both these in the last pictures circled in yellow.
