This beautiful piece of vintage Moorcroft was made between 1953 - 1978 era.
Impressed moorcroft mark under label. Painters mark is a v below a dot. It is a typical piece of moorcroft with bold colours and tube lining. It is the Hibiscus pattern in green, blue, purple, red and orange on a browny blue background. The Hibiscus pattern was designed by Walter Moorcroft in 1949. He was inspired by pressed flowers from Jamaica. The design was re-drawn in 1960, when buds were removed to balance some some colours. It can be used as a pin dish or would grace any collectors cabinet.

Due to age Moorcroft develops crazing over time, this is normal and for me I don’t mind crazing as it adds to the autenticity of the piece.
this is a beautiful piece that has been kept in a china cabinet on a stand for year
