This listing is for a several ModChips for the PS1. If installed correctly this ModChip will allow you to play PlayStation games backups/copies from a CD-R disc, as well as imported games from other regions. The ModChips have been programmed and verified, they are ready to be installed.

I use genuine Microchip PIC12 chips purchased from Digikey or Mouser and program and test each chip myself.

They have been installed into a PCB, programmed and verified, and they are shipped in anti-static packaging.

This listing includes a PCB with a soldered chip that allows you to easily and safely install the chip with the appropriate electrical insulation.
It also includes cable and double-sided adhesive tape.

Installation notes:

• You'll need a fine point soldering iron, solder, and wire cutters/strippers.
• Keep your wires as short as possible.
• If you are having trouble playing backups make sure your wires are short, and your soldering connections are good. If you are still having problems try burning your games at a slower speed. 
• If you are having trouble playing backups sometimes restarting the console fixes the problem.
