Ein dichter Abgaskrümmer ist die Grundlage für einen reibungslos laufenden Turbomotor. Wenn der Serienkrümmer rissig ist, wird die Energie der Abgase nicht zum Kompressor geleitet.
Dies führt zu einer Verringerung der Fahrzeugleistung und -dynamik, einer verstärkten Verbrennung, erhöhten Geräuschemissionen und einer erhöhten Temperatur im Motorraum.
In diesem Fall muss der Krümmer ausgetauscht werden.
