Ein dichter Abgaskrümmer ist die Grundlage für einen reibungslos laufenden Turbomotor. Wenn der Serienkrümmer rissig ist, wird die Abgasenergie nicht zum Kompressor geleitet.
Dies führt zu einer Verringerung der Fahrzeugleistung und -dynamik, einer verstärkten Verbrennung, erhöhten Geräuschemissionen und einer erhöhten Temperatur im Motorraum.
Der Krümmer muss dann ausgetauscht werden.
