I only sell tapes and records from the series "tapetopia - GDRUndergroundtapes 1980 – 1990".
The tapetopia series, using the original layouts and track lists, publishes cassette editions from the GDR underground of the 1980s, especially from the “walled-in” scene in East Berlin. More than three decades after their initial “release”, these tapes have yet to beheard on either vinyl or CD, even though they made an audible mark in the canon of GDR subculture. Despite the tiny original editions of the time, many of the bands were considered cult in countercultural circles, which made them highly suspect in informed circles.
All tapes and records of tapetopia are NEW/MINT. For reasons of environmental protection, the tapes and records are not welded or in plastic foil.

Ich verkaufe ausschließlich Tapes und Schallplatten aus der Serie „tapetopia – GDR Undergroundtapes 1980 – 1990“.
Die Serie tapetopia veröffentlicht, unter Verwendung des Original-Layouts und der ursprünglichen Tracklists, Kassetten-Editionen aus dem DDR-Underground der 1980er Jahre, speziell aus der Mauerstadt-SzeneOstberlins. Über drei Jahrzehnte nach ihrer ersten "Veröffentlichung" sind diese Tapes bisher weder auf Vinyl noch auf CD zu hören, sie mischten jedoch im Kanon der DDR-Subkultur vernehmbar mit. Im Widerspruch zu den damaligen Kleinstauflagen galten viele der Bands in gegenkulturellen Zirkeln als Kult, aber ininformierten Kreisen als höchst verdächtig.
Alle Tapes und Platten sind NEU/MINT.
Aus Gründen des Umweltschutzes sind die Tapes und Platten nicht verschweißt bzw. nicht in Plastikfolie.

The band Neuntage appeared in 1986 during the last blackout phase of the GDR. Its founding fathers came from the early East Berlin punk scene. They had found common ground in projects such as Medusa Brahma, Die zeitweilige Erscheinung or the Mahlsdorfer Wohnstuben Orchester. From there, a short tunnel led straight into the black light of Neuntage, the coldest star in the low-hanging synth-pop sky above East Berlin. Hardly any other post-punk band in the GDR was blessed with such an unconstrained and incidental understanding of melody.
Conceptually and technically, Neuntage was discerning, but a band heavily into DIY. Some of its equipment was based on circuit diagrams from the radio amateur magazine “Funkamateur” by the military publishing house of the GDR. “Soldier” circulated in an edition of less than 50 copies, on cassettes the band had bought from Vietnamese guest workers. Neuntage also performed with Die Vision and with AG Geige.
Die Band Neuntage erschien 1986 während der letzten Verdunkelungsphase der DDR. Ihre Gründerväter stammten aus der frühen Ostberliner Punkszene. Man fand in Projekten wie Medusa Brahma, Die zeitweilige Erscheinung oder dem Mahlsdorfer Wohnstuben Orchester zueinander. Von dort führte ein kurzer Tunnel ins Schwarzlicht von Neuntage, dem kältesten Stern am tief hängenden Synthpop-Himmel über Ostberlin. Kaum eine Postpunkband in der DDR war mit einem derart zwanglosen und beiläufigen Melodienverständnis gesegnet.
Konzeptionell und technisch war Neuntage anspruchsvoll, doch die Band war eher DIY. Das Equipment ging unter anderem auf Schaltpläne aus der Zeitschrift „Funkamateur“ zurück, herausgegeben im Militärverlag der DDR. „Soldier“ kursierte in einer Auflage von unter 50 Kopien, die Kassetten hatte die Band bei vietnamesischen Gastarbeitern gekauft. Neuntage trat auch als Vorband von Die Vision und mit AG Geige auf.
