This professional student-grade Balalaika features a beautiful flamed maple back, an ebony/blackwood neck, blackwood fretboard, and a resonant spruce top. The build quality is amazing, and the fretwork quality is flawless. This instrument is made by one of the best living domra luthiers I.Khakimov. 

The sound of this Domra is warm, wide and open with lush overtones, and it sounds light-years ahead of mass market factory-made souvenir Domras that can be found on eBay.
