Combination Luggage & Postal Wagon Yellow Box

The Pinzgauer Lokalbahn is a narrow-gauge railway in Salzburg in Austria. The 53 kilometre railway follows the Salzach valley from Zell am See and Krimml through the Pinzgau mountains.

Model is approximately 12" long. Has horizontal planked green sides. The side windows (two each side) have bars. Sliding baggage doors with latch. Filigree roof supports and safety gates on platform end of coach. Opposite end of coach has a simulated mail slot on side with molded on postal horn icon and envelope. Plain grey ribbed roof with black vents. Underbody is black. Features black plastic spoked wheels with metal axles and hook & Loop couplers. Model comes in original yellow colored box.

Appeared in the 1969 - 1970 catalog.

Very Nice! Collection item,  C-8 condition is like new, car has been run. Original box lid has light wear and bottom/internal part of box - has from kids play - penciled to be a building for frieur "Barber" and "Sheriff". As-is.
