For sale is a Rare Large & Original WW1 French National Defence Loans 1916 Poster that measures 80cm in width x 120cm In Length. This is in good condition for its age but could benefit from being framed.


This Poster with an illustration of flags at the top with the words: "Honneur et Patrie" on them. At the bottom of the poster is a cottage and a church flanked by the emblems of France, which include olive brances, a helmet and a sword. Text reads: "Francais souscrivez au Deuxieme Emprunt de la Defense Nationale vous haterez la Victoire et vous aurez fait votre devoir envers la Patrie." This translates to “Français subscribe to the Second National Defense Loan you will hasten Victory and you will have done your duty to the Fatherland”.
