Staunton chess set was introduced in 2009, and handcrafted with the finest quality Golden Rosewood and Boxwood. The name of this set accurately describes the knight with his fierce countenance captured by the detailed sculpture of his perked ears, eyes, nose, and mouth. The thick green baize pads at the bottom of the pieces give them a smooth movement on the board surface. All chess pieces are individually hand polished with solid lacquer and a buffing wheel.
