Made of solid cast iron this is a great versatile combo of cauldron and mortar and pestle - heavy duty and perfect for many uses, including grinding and crushing spices, herbs and more. Non porous so does not absorb any ingredient essence during grinding or crushing. Also great for burning all types of incense, resins and smudge sticks, and all types of alter and ritual purposes.

The 4" pestle provides a great grip making it ideal for grinding. Cauldron comes with a removable handle for flexibility. The cauldron stands about 2" tall, and about 3" inside. It is about 2.25" or so at the base and about 5" at the widest points (outside edges). (Please allow a little +/- with each of these guide measurements).
