A very classy set of four large dinner plates from Royal Doulton, in a pattern called "Rondo" (made ca. 1954-1977). The bright white plate is decorated with an elegant gold circle of scrolls around the verge and heavy embossed gold trim on the edge of the rim.

The plates measure 10-5/8 inches wide. They are in very good condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing. There are a few very light utensil marks from use (no heavy scratches or gouges), barely visible when the plates are held at an angle to the light. The gold decoration is very solid and intact on all plates, even around the edges.

The plates are marked in gold with a detailed logo for Royal Doulton:

"Made in England / Royal Doulton / England / English Fine Bone China / Rondo / H.4935 / Copyright / Doulton & Co. Limited." (Please note this listing is for all four plates, so you will receive 4 very heavy plates and lots of bubble wrap.)
