The adhesive will burn off with consistent heat exposure, we suggest manually bonding with hose clamps or stainless steel zip ties for long term use.
SILVER ALUMINUM FOIL TAPE: This heat reflective tape is designed to act as a heavy duty heat barrier for fixed surfaces. Just make sure the surface is clean and free of debris before applying. Take the backing of the tape, press on to the surface and you're ready to go. You will need additional manual bonds for surfaces subject to stretching, twisting, or vibration.

Foil Tape - Radiant Reflective High Temperature Heat Resistant Tape
The heat shielding one mil aluminum foil is laminated to texturized fiberglass coated with pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) for superior heat shielding, heat resistance and insulation.
Common uses include; wrapping wires bundles, fuel lines, cables, hoses, more for radiant heat applications. It is not suitable for applications in which the foil will be subject to stretching, twisting, vibration, or other repetitive movements. Once aluminum foil tape is bent or crinkled, the creases cannot be removed.
HEAT TEMPERATURE APPLICATION GUIDELINES:
Heat Reflective Foil Side - Provides Radiant Heat Protection up 3000°F, NOT recommended for direct heat contact with hot metals but can withstand up to 350°F
Reflects up to 95% of radiant heat energy
Texturized fiberglass side with adhesive can withstand operating temperature up to 1000°F

Foil Tape User Application Instructions:
Step 1: Start with a clean, dry surface. Unroll the required length of tape to be used for the application and remove tape backing to expose adhesive side.
Step 2: Place tape adhesive side down on object to be shielded from heat exposure.
Step 3: Finish wrapping the tape around object and secure utilizing a manual bond such as a hose/worm gear clamp or cable tie clamp.
Step 4: It is important to note that our Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA) backing is intended primarily to hold the tape firmly in place for easy application. The adhesive is not permanent and will burn off after extended exposure to heat. For this reason, it's important to also utilize a manual bond (clamps or ties) to hold the wrap in place long-term.
