Published in London in 1829, this is the second edition of this classic early book on British Natural History, with the author looking at the geology, soils, trees, plants, birds, hedgehogs, rats, shrews, moles, insects, butterflies, moths, etc,
The book is bound in an old half leather binding, just under
8 inches tall, illustrated with plates at the rear, and a small number of
woodcuts within the text
CONDITION
The binding has some general rubbing wear, chip to leather
at top of spine, else binding is in solid condition, internally some foxing to
the opening and closing few pages, some browning to the plates, else in good
general condition
