Here is a stunning, full colour, original 1941 trade advertisement for THE BANK DICK starring W. C. Fields and Shemp Howard (of the Three Stooges). The UK title was THE BANK DETECTIVE.

British trade advertisements from this period are rare – few have survived. This double-page as from Kine Weekly. The trade ads were designed to be removed from the magazine and then displayed as posters to promote forthcoming trade shows.

It measures a large 22” by 17” - the size of a poster - and is in fine condition. As rare as original posters and lobby cards - if not more so! The two pages are separated but would look magnificent if framed and displayed. On the back of one page of this trade ad is one side of a double-page full-colour ad for TRAIL OF THE VIGILANTES, the western starring Franchot Tone, Broderick Crawford and Warren William; directed by Allan Dwan. It would be a crime to harm either of these ads, so I am selling the two ads as one item.
