This specimen features an orange Orthoclase crystal from Crystal Pass in Nevada. The crystal is nicely formed with well defined edges and faces. The backside of the crystal features a previous collector's inventory number. There is a seam in the crystal visible on the back/side, but it does not go all the way through. This piece was formerly part of the famous Alex Schauss thumbnail collection. It was mounted to an acrylic base with mineral tac and came inside a perky box with his inventory label, both of which are included.
