... Perrelet.... name is renowned for the invention the automatic
winding mechanism by Abraham Louis Perrelet and the split-second
chronograph by his son Louis-Frederic. Abraham Louis Perrelet was a
talented inventor and watchmaker who completed his final masterpiece
at the ripe age of 96. Louis-Frederic Perrelet was a watchmaker to
three Kings of France and studied under Breguet. Their influence
appears present in the company's current line, re-launched in 2005
with heavily decorated rotors, complex mechanisms and an impressive
eye for detail...

round concave-shaped case… Perrelet is a company that
every collector should follow. The quality and design are really
something to take note of and are truly impressive. This particular
model has an excellent design and is very beautiful. Wearies love the
round concave-shaped case housing the display Black Turbine (12
Blades), Red under dial (Spinning Turbine) with interplay of the Double
Rotor 3D effect. There is a complex, sloped chapter ring that sits over
the turbine around the dial that helps with reading the time. Not only
is the watch face fantastically 3-D, but it is a highly functional
watch. The dial is exceptionally well balanced and is very easy to see,
eliminating all possible confusion. Perrelet created a hell of a fun
watch with the original Perrelet Turbine. The evolution of the watch
goes back to Perrelet's double rotor concept. The very high-grade
rubber strap is perfectly integrated into the case design, and is very
