t has jewel bearings and gains about 3 minutes every 2 days. This is what I've figured out about the watch; it's best to turn the crown (knob) in a clockwise direction. With it all the way down it winds the clock, with the crown all the way up it turns the hands and the day of the week window (top). With the crown in a mid position (that is hard to find) it changes the day-of-the-month window.
