Up for auction is a Vintage Dinky 440 Studebaker Mobilegas Tanker, Red hubs and original box. Very good + condition. Tanker is in VG+ condition with some paint loss in spots as shown in pictures. "Mobilgas" is the first version outlined in blue and complete with some rub loss. Pegasus decal on rear complete and in very good shape. Box is in very good condition and complete, but one end has end flap and tabs taped to secure. Some surface loss on one side. Otherwise, box is fairly crisp and displays well.
General note: I am listing 30-50 Dinky Toys (and a handful of other brands) as I downsize my collection. Some of these are new old stock, but displayed in my collection for years. Some will be near mint / mint condition and will be noted as such. Others will be models I bought as part of larger collections and the details regarding originality, repaints, etc. are not known for sure. I have never modified or repainted any items, but cannot guarantee what a prior owner may have done. If I suspect a repaint or modification, I will note accordingly. I will do my best to identify any issues but will be taking high-definition pictures for you to make your own judgement on originality and quality.
