Two Merchant Navy Scrap Books From The 1950s.

This is pretty interesting. From what I can gather, a teacher is a captain of a ship or two during the 50s and gets all the crew to write informative educational letters to pupils. the letters are in the book, along with Christmas cards, photos of the ship, crew, and  places they have visited. The letters are super informative of the jobs and work involved for the different crew members and answer questions from the pupils about this and the statistics of the ships.

The condition is good for one of the books and the insides of the other have come away from the edge of the binding. Pictures show this. So please look at all the photos as these are part of the description.
