Original Antique Smith Map
 South America and France

This rare map show the states of 
Buenos Ayres and Patagonia precursors to Argentina 
and New Granada which would become Columbia.

The Falkland Islands shown as being claimed  by both Great Britain and Buenos Ayres
would be the center of a 10 week war fought between Argentina and Great Britain in 1982 over control of the Falkland Islands (Islas Malvinas) and associated island dependencies.
