Ok, this shade came out of an old house, and was made some time between 1920-1940. It's very unusual, with heavy raised roses on the INSIDE of the shade, then coated with a white colorant. I believe this is to keep the colorant protected inside the shade and avoid it being scratched. And if so, that worked, because it has survived nearly 100 years completely un-blemished! No peeling or scratches at all.

A gorgeous early-century fixture to add a lovely accent to a modern home, or restore a vintage building to it's former glory with original decor'. These are no longer made, even as reproductions.
