The Baltic Exhibition in Malmö from 1914 ( Baltiska utställningen in Swedish ) was, among other things, an arts and crafts exhibition by the Baltic Sea countries. It took place from May 15 to October 4, 1914, despite the outbreak of World War I in the meantime .

Mainly new industrial products such as machines , automobiles, wagons and steam locomotives were displayed, along with everyday products such as coffee , stoves, tobacco and chocolate. The art section within the exhibition was the largest ever organized in the Nordic countries. It contained 3,256 issues and attracted the most attention. For posterity, the exhibition was documented in an official history of the 1914 Baltic Exhibition in Malmö, published in three volumes.

The experienced exhibition designer Ferdinand Boberg acted as the responsible architect . Participating countries in the exhibition were Sweden , Denmark , Germany and Russia . The exhibition took place in the area of ​​today's Pildammspark in Malmö and was influenced by Art Nouveau and Expressionism .
