Vintage Remco Dune Buggy Baby Doll Remote Car #3440. Dated 1972. Doll measures approx 12" tall, Buggy measures approx. 11" x 7 1/2" x 7" tall. Operates on 3 "D" batteries ( not included). It is missing the antenna which serves as holder for the remote wire. The headlight stickers have been placed in the wrong place. The "Purse" remote fold tabs are split apart but it seems to stay shut when you latch it. Dolls hair is in rough shape. Not sure if her clothes are original, they seem to fit her well,  the hem is frayed on the bottom front and the seam on right shoulder has come undune. The dune buggy has been tested and seems to work however it is  sporadic, the battery connections look good and it seems that maybe it is the metal that is bent to connect with the batteries that are not coming in good contact with the batteries at times. ??? No clue.  When there is contact, it runs and she waves. Comes with original box with cardboard insert and instructions. Box and insert show shelf/storage wear. SOLD AS IS.
