Split-focus binoculars are generally more reliable than center-focus binoculars. This is due to the absence of the central focusing unit, which many manufacturers do not pay enough attention to, and often skewing of the image occurs in this place. In turn, the central focusing is faster, but with its own peculiarities. If you plan to use binoculars in the field and extreme conditions, it is better to choose a separate focusing system.
