Pendulum clock Orfac (Manufacturer), Hermle and Kieninger (Watchmaker), 1960s
Avant-garde design from the 1960s, pendulum, mechanical mantel clock typical of the work of Dutch watchmakers Orfac of Rogan, Holland. During the 1960s, Orfac produced some of the most radically designed clock cases of the period and typically used movements from the German watchmakers Hermle and Kieninger. This particular example features a brass domed crystal bezel, brass case back, pendulum, hands and numerals. The clock case rests on black enamel feet with spherical brass feet.
