Functions of Components
1 Digital sensor
The Digital sensor is the key component for imaging. It converts the X-ray signals into electrical signals that will be transmitted to the acquisition workstation. The sensor is connected to the workstation via the USB 2.0 connection. Before connecting the sensor, do not start the acquisition workstation software. Do not disconnect the sensor during the image acquisition process, otherwise the sensor can be damaged.

2 USB Connection Cable
The USB cable is used to connect the sensor and the acquisition workstation. Before starting image acquisition, make sure that the USB cable is well-connected on both ends.

3 Workstation Software
The workstation software receives the data from the sensor, post-processes the received data, and generates images to provide information for the diagnosis.

4 Adaptor
The adaptor provides power supply for the sensor and it also transmits data from the sensor to the workstation.To ensure the safety of testing subject and the performance of the product, there are some other standard accessories packaged together with the above mentioned components, including a box of protective sheaths, a silicon loop and a sensor holder.

5 Protective Sheath
Before putting the Digital sensor into the testing subject’s mouth for positioning, enclose it with a disposable protective sheath. Every testing subject should use a new sheath to prevent cross-contamination.

6 Silicon Loop
Enclose the sensor with the silicon loop before putting it to the sensor holder. The case is intended to minimize the damage from shaking or falls.

7 Sensor Holder
The holder is designed to provide a safe and secure storage solution for the sensor.

Sensor Storage
It is strongly recommended that the sensor should be put into the package box or onto the sensor holder after each day of use, to prevent it from falling down or getting dirty.
Computer Data Protection
Make a copy of the data for storage every day. Copy the data to some large storage capacity medium for alternative use(copy to portable hard drives or PACS)or ask the computer provider for advice, and store the data in a safe place.
