Antique Watercolor Painting Flowers Signed L C Hunter attributed to Lizbeth Clifton Hunter A Well Known & Listed Artist. Measures 15 1/8" x 19 5/8"; the artwork area is about 13" x 18". Removed from an 1890's era gilt finished wood frame. No frame is included, it became very worn and damaged and was discarded. The Painting is on thin poster type board in fine condition. The edges show unpainted areas left that way as it would have been under the frame edge. See detailed photos.

Lizbeth Clifton Hunter was born in Gilroy, CA on Nov. 29, 1868.  Hunter was a pupil of Henry B. Snell.  She was a resident of NYC in 1938 and of Redding Ridge, CT in 1947.  She is reported to have died about that time.
