The good News is Algae growth is a sure sign of a healthy tank, so you are doing something right. It can however be somewhat unsightly. In order to reduce algae and prevent it growing in the first place you have a few options. It’s always advisable to reduce Nitrate levels in the water column by doing regular water changes, you can also move the tank from direct sunlight or reduce the lighting schedule on your tank.
