Dodge steering has always been a bit questionable and even off the lot, they've had a little bit of play in the steering wheel. Many times, this isn't due to worn tie rods or bad ball joints but rather, sloppy joints in the intermediate shaft. One joint in particular isn't serviceable BUT can be tightened up with a bushing. EMF took on the task of designing two tiny, press in bushings to help take up this slack and give any steering column less slop. Sometimes, the answer might be the least expensive option so if anyone feels like they have play between the steering wheel and steering box, this is one of the first places to look!

These two bushings are machined out of aluminum and have a tapered end to allow for ease of installation. The whole process takes about 5 minutes to install, is extremely inexpensive and works wonders for your steering column.

Bushings sold as a pair.
