Description: This print originates from the 8vo (octavo) edition of Fancois Robichon de Guerniere's 'Ecole de Cavalerie contenant La Connoissance, l'Instruction, et la Conservation du Cheval'. This edition was published in 1769 in Paris. We also stock plates from the earlier (1733) quarto edition of the same work.
Artists and Engravers: Drawn and engraved by C. Parrocel. Charles Parrocel (1688-1752) was a French painter and engraver, specialised in battle and hunting scenes.

Subject: Antique print, titled: 'Le Galop uni � gauche, Le Galop faux � gauche', ('Left even gallop' and 'Left false gallop'), shoing a horse and rider for the first and an unsaddled horse for the latter.
Condition: Very good, given age. Top left corner stained, right edge uneven from binding. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
