One of a kind handmade saye gosha, also called segusha, hanging V-shaped decorative piece from central Asia. Traditionally used by tent-dwelling Turkic peoples for covering rolled-up bedding.
Intricately embroidered Uzbek Lakai style in red, pink, orange, gray, green and black. Backing is of a roughly woven cotton.
This is a vintage item with a history of daily use in rugged, semi-outdoor settings (nomadic tent-dwelling) and has evidence of such including repaired spots, staining and soiling, sections of tangled fringe and a small hole in the reverse side. No odors are evident. Please examine all photos carefully before purchasing.
