Amount: 25 "Dear Catholic" Tracts for $12.00

Do you know someone who is Catholic? Most Catholics have deep respect for Jesus and yet many don't know what it means to be born again. This specific tract respectfully shares what it means to have a relationship with Christ rather than just going through religious rituals and traditions. People are only saved by God's grace through one's faith because of Christ's finished work on the cross. Not because of any good things we do. Here is what the tract says "

Dear Catholic,

You were meant to know God personally, no just know about God. it's not about religion but a relationship. Remember the story in John chapter 3 where Jesus told a religious man named Nicodemus "I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the kingdom of heaven." Nicodemus didn't understand what "born again" meant and he was a religious teacher! Being "religious" is not good enough for anyone to enter haven when they die. Everyone needs a spiritual heart transplant and Jesus is the doctor. Our hearts are dead spiritually and we need Jesus to give a new heart to be made alive, becoming born again. Have you ever been born again?

The Bad News...

If you died today where would you spend eternity...Heaven or Hell? If you say heaven, on what basis would God let you in? Maybe you would say "I was baptized as an infant" or "i was confirmed" or "I keep the sacraments and go to mass" or "I try to keep God's commandments". Have you ever disobeyed any of God's 10 commandments like lying, stealing or coveting etc.? In Jesus eyes sexual lust is adultery and anger is murder of the heart (Matthew 5). God doesn't only judge our actions but also our attitudes and intentions.

Since we all are guilty sinners, we deserve punishment by being forever sentenced to a pace called hell. "The wages of sin is death..." (Romans 6:23).

The Good News...

"But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8). Jesus took the punishment we deserve for our sins by dying on a cross as our substitute.   And three days later he resurrected as our only savior. The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8,9 " For it is by grace you have been saved through faith- and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast." People can never earn or merit salvations by any good works. Salvations is a free gift bought with Christ's blood. Titus 3:5 says. "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy." Have you received salvation personally as God's free gift for you?

How to Receive Christ...

Being raised Catholic or doing any rituals won't save you. Even believing in the right things about Jesus won't save you.  It's NOT Jesus + good works = saved. Its Jesus alone! What you need to do to get right with God and go to heaven is:

1) Repent (turn away from), any sin or prideful attitude of trying to earn salvation through works. This takes humility and surrender.

2) Trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ alone and you will receive eternal life. You need to receive Christ as your personal savior by trusting in Him alone.

"But to all who did receive Him (Jesus), who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh or of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12,13). That is how you become born again! I enough you to read the gospel of John and start attending a church that teaches the Bible.
