Exquisitely carved Southeast Asia, Indonesia, Borneo, Central Kalimantan, Mahakam River, Dayak peoples, Bahau ca. late 19th century. Wonderful stylized anthropomorphic figure, each hand-carved from wood exhibiting espresso brown hues. Old tribal piece displays seated on arrow figure exhibits recognizably anthropomorphic form and holds both arms in front arms in front of narrow waist and large posterior. Piece has correct patina, weight and earthen deposits throughout befitting for its age. 9.25 inches in height
