How does this fan work?
Shutters: The shutters are thermally activated, ie when the fan switches on and warms up, the automatic shutters will slowly open.
When the fan turns off, the shutters will remain open until the fan cools down, then the shutters will slowly close automatically.

The fan requires only a permanent live connection and a neutral connection. No earth is required.
This fan is for humidity control. When the set humidity level is detected by the integral humidistat,
the fan will switch on automatically by itself.

Overriding the humdistat: There is a pullcord on the actual fan for use if you want to turn the fan on and off manually.

Please note: If you require a fan with a humidistat for wiring with 3 connections (ie, a permanent live, a switched live and a neutral) to enable the fan to be wired to come on with lighting, we recommend purchasing the slimline humdistat fan available in our ebay shop.
