This is a sweet older Chinese Export Ceramic Figurine of a Young Girl in Sitting position carrying a Pomegranate Fruit or sack.

She stands approximately 14” tall. As you see her, she measures approximately 9” across from her hair bun (left side) to her elbow (right side).  Base measure approximately 6 ¾” x 4”.  I believe is sitting a tree stump0 or possibly a large rock.

Dressed in colorful clothing her  hand painted colors include black, and black with shades of blue, brown, cinnabar,  green, mauve, pink, off white, and yellow.

Condition is as follows:

* Crazing.

* Paint loss, drips, and smears.

* Surface scratches.

* Possible old dust or dirt could be found.

When gently running your fingers over the painted butterflies, you will feel a bit of texture on the edges of  some of them.

There are two small round black surface protectors on her base rim, however, likely at one time there were a few more to help provide surface protection.
