Title page undated, but carries a date code of 1908 on the reverse, this is a handsomely bound example of this classic work, bound in a full leather binding, titled and decorated in gilt, marbled page edges and endpapers, just under 7 inches tall, 296 pages, not illustrated, book bears a presentation bookplate from The Harvey Memorial Fund, Uttoxeter Grammar School, with those words embossed in gilt to upper cover,

CONDITION

the covers are mildly rubbed and scuffed with some darkened spots to the leather, else the binding is in good solid condition, internally foxing to endpapers, a few small marks within else in good general condition
