This activity set comes with a VHS and Cassette tape.

This set is designed to introduce and explain the Underground Railroad and the history behind it, through the use of video, audio, game and print resources.  It can be integrated into a Social Studies/History unit for grades K-8.  I can also be a valuable learning resource for home schoolers, museum interpreters and workshop groups.

Through the use of historical images, musical performance and dramatic recreations, part 1 of the video introduces viewers to the Underground Railroad.  The game portion can be used as a centerpiece activity where players experience the Underground Railroad at work, with songs used at intervals during the game.  The interpretive activity guide contains additional support information along with activities and song lyrics.
