Hasselblad 903SWC camera with biogon 38/4.5 Zeiss lens.
Included in the listing is the camera, a viewfinder, and an a12 film back and a lens hood and an original leather Hasselblad strap. The listing includes only what is pictured. This camera was serviced by Hasselbad USA in NJ in November 2022 as per the owner from whom I bought the camera. I just shot a test roll of film before making this listing, and the images turned out wonderful as you would expect. The camera is truly a joy to use. The SWC series of cameras are very special and produce spectacular images. The 903swc is the apex of the SWC series of Hasselblads. The later camera in the series (the 905swc) use an inferior optical design and are constructed with plastic in many critical areas. Please take a look at the high resolution listing images to get a sense of condition. I would describe this as a great user camera - if you are looking for a mint condition camera to put in a display case this isn't for you, if you plan to make images with it, this is a great pick! A desirable thing is that this camera has the viewfinder with a metal housing that is found on the previous version of the SWC. This is more robust viewfinder because it is not made of plastic like what you usually find on an 903swc. A few small details that I would like to mention in the interest of full disclosed. A dark slide is not included for the for the A12 film magazine, I did borrow one from a different camera I own to allow me to remove the film back for more thorough product pictures. This does not affect using the camera because you can still load and unload film from the film back with it attached to the camera. There are also a few imperfections on the glass, I have done my best to show these in the pictures, but it is hard to photograph them. I would consider them minor and these do not show up in images, but I'm mentioning this in the interest of full disclosure. I'm attaching a pic I have taken with this camera.
