Description

A mug with the image of cherry blossoms and trees in full bloom that shines through the craftsmanship of Omei Pottery in Chikuzen.

This mug evokes the image of cherry blossoms in full bloom dancing in the air and the cherry blossom branches waving in the wind as seen from the second floor of Starbucks Reserve® Roastery Tokyo.

Amidst the beauty of a slightly pale pink color, the dancing branches of cherry blossoms add a sense of strength to the scene. This is expressed using the "flying plane" technique, which is a characteristic of Koishiwara ware,
and the white clay poured onto the side of the mug.

One of the attractions is that each product has individual differences depending on the position of the kiln during firing. There are some that look pale pink with a hint of gray, and you can enjoy the unique beauty of each.

Not microwave or dishwasher safe.
Cannot be used over open flames or in the oven. Each product is hand-finished by a craftsman,
so there may be individual differences,
but please enjoy each product as its individuality.
Please read the handling precautions before use.
