This is a lovely form of the this Autumn flowering species - Crocus goulimyi var leucanthus is a hardy, readily grown species which increases well and flowers reliably every year in Autumn.
The normal colour form in the wild is lilac-purple but in certain populations the main colouring is a paler form with silver lilac stained petals.
It is a vary attractive colour form which that is just as easily grown as the normal species - any good soil in sun is perfect.
