USS Bagley; This 341 foot Bagley Class destroyer was built at the Norfolk Navy Yard

and commissioned on June 12, 1937. This vessel fought in the Pacific Theater of

WW II and earned 12 WW II battle stars.  She was sold for recycling into scrap metal in 1947.
