High brightness mode and meter display with 21 LEDsThe TU-3 is the successor to the TU-2, a tuner ideal for live performances and featuring the same design as the BOSS compact series. In addition, 21 LEDs are used in the meter section to smoothly display the tuning status. Comfortable/smooth tuning can be performed on various stages. The tuning display pattern can be switched not only to "CENT," which is reminiscent of a needle meter, but also to "STREAM," which expresses the pitch highs and lows with a stream of light, a feature that was popular on the TU-2. In addition to the "Chromatic" tuning mode, which allows you to check note names in semitone units, the TU-2 is also equipped with a "Guitar Mode/Bass Mode (compatible with 5-string basses)" that displays tuning by string number.
TU-3 is equipped with a new Accupitch Sign function that notifies the user when tuning is complete with an LED movement. This function allows for safe and comfortable tuning. Furthermore, the flat tuning setting range has been expanded to 6 semitones in guitar mode and 3 semitones in bass mode. Of course, it also has convenient functions such as power supply to other compacts and an OUTPUT jack that automatically mutes the signal as soon as the tuner is turned on, allowing tuning without emitting any sound.
