It's hard to beat the blue color of Chalcanthite! Many people think they look like blades of blue grass. Chalcanthite is a copper sulphate specimen typically found in dry arid regions. While there are many lab grown examples of Chalcanthite available on the market, this one grew naturally and is from a 2010 find made by Shannon & Son's Minerals at the Planet Mine in Arizona.

***Please note that Chalcanthite is toxic and hands should be washed after handling.  Do not taste or consume this material.***
